Vatican Museums Night Opening, the 2017 experience!
The Vatican Museums Night Opening will start once again opening its doors to the public during the 2017. An extraordinary experience for who will be in Rome or for who is organizing the trip during the months of April, May, June, July, August, September and October. This year, the Vatican Museums Night Opening has been renovated, anticipated and extended to make this an unforgettable experience and to discover the wonderful treasures of the Vatican Museums under an unusual setting during the twilight.
The first appointment will be Friday, April 21 and it will be happening every Friday until October 27. The 2017 edition does not contemplate the usual August break, thus ensuring a greater probability of seeing a magical sunset of the St. Peter’s Basilica and of the Vatican Gardens from the Cortile della Pinacoteca and from the windows of the Gallery of the Maps.
With this visit you can enjoy looking at the starry sky over the Cortile della Pigna and dig into the mysterious rooms of the Gregorian Egyptian Museum, Museo Pio Clementino, the Candelabra Gallery, the Tapestry Gallery. You will be able to visit the Raphael Rooms and under an incomparable atmosphere you will admire the grand and magnificent frescoes of the Sistine Chapel.
It has also been confirmed the cultural and musical proposal that will certainly enrich some of the nights of this spectacular visit. It will soon be possible to consult the online program and the calendar on side events.

Concert starting time: 20:30 (if present in the program, the dates will be indicated in the calendar).
