Vatican Gardens entrance ticket
The Vatican Gardens entrance ticket is permitted only to visitors accompanied by a tour guide. Due to the daily large crowds of tourists, it is recommended to book the guided tour of the Gardens (place of rest and meditation of the Supreme Pontiff) at least one week in advance. This booking also includes a ticket to the Vatican Museums.
How to get there: Vatican City, Viale Vaticano
From Termini Station Metro A Line (Battistini), stops: Ottaviano-Musei Vaticani; Cipro (from both, 10 minutes walk).
From the Fiumicino Aeroport Leonardo Express Train to Termini Station and from here proceed as above.
From Ciampino Aeroport Terravision Bus to Termini e Station and from here proceed as above. A taxi from either airport takes 40 minutes.
Metro: A Line, stop at Ottaviano-S.Pietro-Musei Vaticani or Cipro (from both, 10 minutes walk).
Bus (stops): 49, in front of the the Museum; 32, 81, 982, Piazza del Risorgimento (last stop) (5 minutes walk); 492, 990, Via Leone IV / Via degli Scipioni (5 minutes walk).
Tram: 19, Piazza del Risorgimento (5 minutes walk).
The Vatican Gardens can be visited only by guided tour available every weekday, except Wednesday and Sunday.
The guided tour includes: entrance to the Vatican Museums (without guided tour), guided tour of the Gardens and audio guides rental .

Access to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel is permitted only to visitors with proper attire (sleeveless shirts, shorts, skirts, hats are prohibited).
The Vatican Gardens are accessible to people with disabilities, but, because of the shape of the roads and paths, wheelchairs can not access it.
