Papal Audience Guided Tour

The Papal Audience Guided Tour will take you by bus through the most important places in Rome until arriving to Piazza San Pietro. You will observe the splendid Piazza della Repubblica with the Fountain of Nayads, Piazza Barberini with Bernini’s Triton Fountain, the famous Via Veneto, the ancient Aurelian Walls, the famous Villa Borghese park, Piazzale Flaminio and Piazza del Popolo, the ancient northern gate of Rome with its Egyptian obelisk from the time of Ramses II.

You will pass in front of Castel Sant’Angelo up to Piazza San Pietro.

Depending on the season and the number of pilgrims the Papal Audience will take place in the Basilica of St. Peter or St. Peter’s Square or in the Sala Nervi.

The place and time of the meeting at the end of the audience will be communicated by the guide.
