Norma and Capriccio from the 4th of march to the 26th of may 2013, the Uffizi Gallery , will be hosting the “Norma and Capriccio. Spanish artists in Italy in the early Mannerist period” exhibition.
The exhibition is the first event dedicated to the work of Spanish artists arrived in Italy from the beginning of the sixteenth century and the twenties of that century, among them are Alonso Berruguete, Pedro Machuca, Pedro Fernández, Bartolomé Ordóñez and Diego de Siloam.
The exhibition “Norma and Capriccio. Spanish artists in Italy in the early Mannerist period” consists of four sections blending the prestigious masterpieces created by these Spanish artists with extraordinary examples of Italian production between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.
